SmartAddons Simpletabs is a professional module for Magento. With 4 themes, the module will do your website looks better. The module supports to choose some categories or specify Ids which you want to highlight to customers.

Installation

Clear the store cache under var/cache and all cookies for your store domain.

Backup Your Data

Backup your web directory.

Download and Extract

Download and unzip extension contents on your computer and navigate inside the extracted folder.

Upload Files

If you use a different from default theme - be sure to rename app/design/frontend/default/default and skin/frontend/default/default folders to your store's values. Using your FTP client upload content of app and skin directory to your store root.

Set Up

Log in to Admin, go to System -> Configuration -> SM Simpletabs (in the left of column). Here you will see SM Simpletabs: Config tabs to change parameters to your idea.

If you want to use this module on the Simpletabs, please go to CMS -> Page -> Edit Home page item ->Tab Content, add this code to a position:

If you want to show other positions, please add following code to the end of file app\design\frontend\default\default folders to your store's values\layout\SmartAddons\simpletabs.xml

GENERAL SETTING

• Enable - Using for enable/disable HTML out put of the module
• Title - You can change title of the module on here

MODULE SETTING

• Width of Module - You can change width of module here.
• Select a template - We support 4 themes for this module

PRODUCT SELECTION

• Select Category - Please to select the category which you want to show
• Product order by - Open link window for Super Category:

• Product order dir - Allow you arrange products follow order ascending or descending
• Product limitation - The limited number of products which can be showed in each category

PRODUCT SETTING

• Product image
  
  • Display - You can show/not image of product
  • Linkable - You can enable/disable link of product image
  • Image width/height - Allow you change width/height of product image
  • Product normal image width/height - Allow you change width/height of small image
• Product title
  
  • Display - You can enable/disable title of product
  • Linkable - You can enable/disable link of product title
  • Text Color - You can change color for title of product here
  • Max characters - The limited number of character on Product title
• Product description
  
  • Display - You can enable/disable description of product
  • Text Color - You can change color for description of product here
  • Max characters - The limited number of characters on Product description
• Others
  
  • Link target - Open link window for product:
    
    • Pop up: Open the link in new window without navigation
    • Same window: Open the link in the same window
    • New window: Open the link in the new window
  • Display Price - You can enable/disable price of product
  • Display product detail link - You can enable/disable link for go to detail of product
  • Product detail link caption - Allow you change caption for product detail link

ADVANCE SETTING

• Include jQuery - Show/not show jQuery for module
• Pre-Text - This text is showed above of module
• Post-Text - This text is showed under of the module

Uninstall

Backup your web directory.

After that, you can safely remove the extension files from your store.
